[jira] [Commented] (PDFBOX-3710) Text Stripper in 2.0 lost some texts - regression

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-3710?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15896852#comment-15896852 ]

Tilman Hausherr commented on PDFBOX-3710:
-----------------------------------------

What texts were "lost"? Do you mean the part that is only in cyan? That is because these have no unicode. See this comment:
{code}
        // in cyan:
        // show actual glyph bounds. This must be done here and not in writeString(),
        // because writeString processes only the glyphs with unicode,
        // see e.g. the file in PDFBOX-3274
{code}
have a look at the G1 font in PDFDebugger. No unicode.
