mod_proxy as reverse proxy brokes images

OK, that's a combo of three things on the httpd: proxy, deflate and mem_cache.

I've used that combo with the exception of cache with no problems: can you
confirm whether proxy+deflate without cache works for you? And what about
proxy+cache+no-deflate?

Can you get the httpd headers from a broken image?
