[DISCUSS] Streamline our usage of Junit and Junit5?

Hi all,

I think we currently have quite a mixture of different tests that use a variety of versions of Junit. Unfortunately because of this I always have to check the package name of the Test annotation… I think it would be a good idea to rid ourselves of Junit prior to version 5 and update the existing tests.

And I really have to work on getting the test-coverage back up again … especially for the new drivers.

So if anyone has some spare cycles, feel free to write some tests … and to keep an eye on our SonarCloud instance:
https://sonarcloud.io/dashboard?id=apache_plc4x
Which isn’t looking that happy.

Hi,

I mostly use Junit5 now but see no need for forcing all code to go up.
If I touch some could I would agree to migrate it but I'm really relaxed there.
