The 'type' attribute of 'parameter' is still in some deprecated components?

First of all, sorry for any non-compliance to the Jakarta, or Tapestry,
mailing culture, since this is my first attempt to conribute my time to
better this part of the world.

Ok, to the point:

My understanding is that the 'type' attribute of the 'parameter' tag is, and
will be, removed in Tapestry 4.0. Yet, the contrib:DateField component still
has a 'type="java.util.Date"' in the specification.

I am looking at the CVS head
(http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/jakarta-tapestry/contrib/src/java/org/apa
che/tapestry/contrib/valid/DateField.jwc?view=markup)

And, yes, I know it is a deprecated component. Still, it is important (but
not that rewarding...) to keep this deprecated components at least
compilable, no?

Do you guys want regular diff patches attached to observations like these?

Thanks for one of the top five tools, and definitely the sexiest (along
HiveMind, of course), in the Java world!

/David B

Thanks; the right approach for something like this is to add a bug to
JIRA. The mailing list can get swamped.
