[jira] [Created] (OAK-2575) improve documentation for
DocumentStore.invalidateCache
Julian Reschke created OAK-2575:
-----------------------------------
Summary: improve documentation for DocumentStore.invalidateCache
Key: OAK-2575
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-2575
Project: Jackrabbit Oak
Issue Type: Task
Components: mongomk
Affects Versions: 1.2
Reporter: Julian Reschke
Assignee: Marcel Reutegger
Priority: Minor
The JavaDoc currently just says "invalidate the document cache"; it would be good to clarify
- that it's ok to keep cache entries as long as they get re-validated before being used
and
- whether it's ok to do the re-validation lazily (as opposed to immediately, as done by MongoDS)
