removing ant tasks?

what would it take to remove the remaining ant tasks in 1.4? it seems 
most of them have been converted to usecases already.

this would allow us to get rid of

config/tasks as well

i am testing some changes in my workspace that get rid of most ant 
tasks, and all of publishing except PublishingEnvironment. it seems the 
publishing, tasks and ant packages have quite a few dependencies on each 
other.

i created a patch at
