Hello,

I've got many problems when updating from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 on an NT
system, in particular with the registry. Is there somewhere an
explanation on how to update on an NT system ?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Daniel Clar

I spoke to Daniel last week. The problem he encountered was
installing 1.3.1 on top of 1.3.0; things 'didn't work' (I don't
remember if he mentioned details).

He had to de-install 1.3.0 and do a new install of 1.3.1 to
get things back to normal, and remarked that it was very
unclear how to de-install the kit. I pointed him at the
Control Panels->Add/Remove Software window and he was
please, but his first attempt had been to look for a
"Deinstall.exe" file in the Apache installation directory.

I don't remember if his first problem was due to registry
issues or not. I'll have to test this myself later to-day.
Does 1.3.2 install cleanly ON TOP OF an existing 1.3.1 or
1.3.0 installation?

I'll ack his note in the meantime.

As for the 'how to de-install' question -- anyone have any
suggestions on how to make it even more pellucid than it is
now?
