security info

hi all...can someone point me to some information on security.  i'd like to have simple authentication (userName/password) that a client passes to a service (exposed using binding.ws).  the service is on a component, and promoted to be on the composite.

Hello Abraham,

The Tuscany sample "Sample-calculator-ws-secure-webapp" might be a good 
sample to get you started. It shows secure web services using simple 
authentication.
