[~julianhyde], I have started working on the support of GroupingSets in the translation from Hive to Calcite, and once I pass the GroupingSets to Calcite, I'm hitting the _CALCITE_461_FIXED_ assertion in the trimFields method in [RelFieldTrimmer.java|https://github.com/apache/incubator-calcite/blob/master/core/src/main/java/org/apache/calcite/sql2rel/RelFieldTrimmer.java].
Is that the only method that needs to be adapted at the moment in order to handle GroupingSets correctly?
