Error in XSLT (Xalan)

           Summary: Error in XSLT (Xalan)
           Product: Cocoon 2
           Version: 2.0.4
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Minor
          Priority: Other
         Component: general components
        AssignedTo: dev@cocoon.apache.org
        ReportedBy: lbrasseur@yahoo.com

Performing XSLT transformations whith special character put garbage in some
text outputs. I found that the problem happens if the input has special
characters, like accents (áéíóú). I try changing the encoding (UTF-8 and ISO-
8859-1), but the problem still persists.
