[jira] Closed: (GERONIMO-378) transaction timeouts not implements
[ http://nagoya.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMO-378?page=history ]
David Jencks closed GERONIMO-378:
---------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version: 1.0-M3
We've heard that the omission of thread local tx timeout from the latest jta spec is a mistake. UserTransaction and TransactionManager setTransactionTimeout now use a ThreadLocal, and this is used by UT and TM begin. Anything else (i.e. transaction context creation) uses a more sensible system of supplying the timeout in the begin call. This can be (but is not yet) used by cmt.
XAResource issue is moved to a new issue.
