Hi,

I'm afraid that such questions should better be asked at the users mailing list (log4net-user@logging.apache.org). I suppose that You run log4net on linux with mono. Have You tried to configure the logfile to something like "~/mylogfile.log"? The linux operating system should expand that to the users home directory and You get a logfile for every linux user.
