[jira] [Commented] (NIFI-616) Disallow blank nifi properties where appropriate

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-616?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14624539#comment-14624539 ]

Brandon DeVries commented on NIFI-616:
--------------------------------------

[~aldrin]... they are similar but not quite the same. The problem this ticket was opened to address is that a blank "nifi.content.repository.directory.default" won't result in an error message, it will splash your nifi install directory with 256 repository directories. If the fix that you have in mind for 133 will address this, that's fine. Otherwise i would seriously consider reopening this ticket.

> Currently, some nifi properties (e.g. nifi.content.repository.directory.default) can be left blank, potentially resulting in unintended consequences. Ensure that properties that should have values provided are required to.
