Thanks for noticing this! I just fixed it.

Thanks Doug.

I'm happy to see that release. Just one quick note, mostly for historical purposes, the releases page (http://avro.apache.org/releases.html) dates the 1.7.2 release to July 18th 2012 (same as 1.7.1) which is not the case.

Cheers!

With 4 +1 votes, 3 from PMC members, and no -1 votes, this passes.

I'll start publishing the release.

Thanks!

+1.

I've built this version and run the Java tests. I checked
http://people.apache.org/~cutting/avro-1.7.2-rc0/avro-src-1.7.2.tar.gz.md5 as
well.

If we can get one more PMC member to give this a +1 then I can publish
this release today.

Avro-c `make test` succeeded on MacOS 10.6.8 and CentOS 5.8. All hashes
are correct.

I verified the signature and checksums, ran RAT, checked the LICENSE
and NOTICE, and ran the Java unit tests.
