Is there really a trap

Where are palloc pstrdup etc trapped if they
return a 0, cannot get memory ?

Upon hearing from the list that they got trapped higher
up I removed a lot of the checks from my modules, but
suddenly I am not so sure anymore.

Btw: I have a cookie access control module, works with mSQL
and '.htpasswd' like files. Has anyone got time/energy to
get it to work with the dbm's as well ?
