This sounds good. Have you added commonj-twm_api.jar as an artifact produced by Gernonimo yet? If so, would you please publish the jar to one of the ASF Maven repos (http://www.apache.org/dist/java-repository/ or http://cvs.apache.org/repository/)? That way we can point to it in Apollo's and Hermes' Maven scripts. We're currently still pointing to a copy of the BEA api jar that's living in my own personal Maven repo.
