WebPortlet - url rewriting

Hi everyone,
I've downloaded and installed the new 1.4b version of jetspeed.
I'm interested to webpageportlet because i've to integrate in portlets some
external applications.
I've tried the provided examples (javasoft and jakarta web), but it seems
that the internal urls are not rewrited.
How can I rewrite urls?
Are cookies and session parameters mantained?
