i18n : how to put html tag in translation piece of texte ?

Hi,
Just starting with maven. Looks great.
I've build up a maven project with site generation, with two languages.
Using "key=blabla", to get the translation text from properties file
xdocs_fr.properties, is ok,...
But is there a way to put html tags in it ?

I understand that it is not really nice to mix content and format, but,
for a sentence like :

First, download the <b>User Guide</b> from <a href="...">the download
page</a>

It is a lot of work to set 4 keys, one for each mini piece of text.

Any other way to do this ?

I thought may be the translation texts could be in XML file, allowing
some XHTML piece of texte....
This would allow this convenient way, letting to the user the
responsibility of mixing text and presentation, no ?

Thank you for help,
Antoine

Not exactly, doxia is used for rendering content (report and site). It
convert xdoc, apt... document to xhtml
For i18n, we use plexus-i18n

Not only, it's totally independant.

Hello,
I looked at doxia : it is not yet "release", no ?
Is it made more or less to be used by maven 2 ?
In the road map, alpha 3 is suppose to have "Improved site and report
functionality" Does it means site generation feature (with Doxia) will
be ready in this realease ?
Thanks, Antoine

Maven1 could provide i18n but a lot of reports doesnt support i18n
feature.

Thank you...
So no way...
When you say "for maven 1..." does it means some new things in maven 2 ?
I've just started and understood quickly that if I need to generate a
site, maven 2 is not ready.
Any idea when this (with i18n) will be ready ?
Where can I get information about that ?

Hi Antoine,

With maven1, the translation is based on Jelly tags. So using HTML
content in bundle provides HTML result (ie <b> will be transform to
&lt;b&gt;)
Thus, your solution sounds the pretty way.

Vincent
