let's move
well, as Rolf already noted we can do the release (marked as incubation
release)

but it seems that some more bugs occured (as noted by Andreas Kuckartz)
and personally I would like to fix some bugs re the lucene integration.
So how we do move forward ....
I would suggest that we stop code freeze now, agree on these bugs, fix them
and then try to get this incubation release out.
If we "all" agree then I would start a list of bugs to fix where we can
vote on.

No one has stepped forward to fix them. It works for me and for many
other people. How long do you want to wait before someone tackles
these bugs? Forever? As I said this is not the end, this is the
start. There will be a 1.2.1.

Lucene bugs are not release critical imho.

Not nice, but afaik roku has a patch for this.

We'll fix that one in 1.2.1.

Build problems are not release critical imho, and Roku has a patch for
this.
So once Roku has applied the patch for 29686 we can release imho.

I encountered that problem on June 19 on the public demo site. See
http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29083
If such a vital feature does not even function properly on the demo site I would
become suspicious if I were a new potential user...

Patch is pending

I have not yet submitted partly fix of that problem. Admins would than
be able to edit user profiles again.
I would also be fine to release now and start working on 1.2.1
immediately.

No, I'm against this. The lucene bugs imho are not release
critical. Rokus 1.2 release works for many people out of the box. We
should release as is.
There will always be a 1.2.1. That leaves you enough time to fix the
lucene problems. Realistically you will not have time to fix the
lucene stuff before two weeks. I do not want to wait another two
weeks.
