Test failing... anyone else?
I'm on a Ubuntu laptop now and I've always had test failing.
The "org.apache.tapestry5.integration.app1.FormTests:datefield_select_newmonth_samedate"
always fails with "expected:<28> but was:<27>".
Before the recent commit by Howard on rev 1155446: "Fix (I hope) a
couple of broken tests" where it add a sleep to the AlertsTests that
was failing too.
This is:
java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode)
Anyone else in this situation?

I've noticed the same here. I want to point out that the bug is
present only in firefox (all versione 3, 4 and 5) but not in Chrome
and Opera (11)

The hotel booking demo didn't use the PersistLocal right?

Just committed a workaround allowing European committers to run the build
successfully. At least it works for me.
You can easily reproduce the bug by entering a date with year >= 2038. Not
sure what is causing the wrong behavior, but it looks like starting from
year 2038 any date is broken.
BTW: the bug is not present in the hotel booking app.

Since this failure just started being reported, it's likely that it relates to recent changes, probably the changes I made to fix tap5-1408 and Tap5-1409. I'll look into it.

That seems wired and could be a "bug" in firefox or datepicker... I
will look if it's possible to rewrite the datefield against something
different then DatePicker... maybe this one:

Seems wired cause I do use the US version of firefox:
Firefox 5 from here:
http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-5.0.1&os=linux&lang=en-US
Firefox 3 is this one: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US;

Which timezone you're on?

Yes using the gradle wrapper let you use milestone-3 as configured now
but that doesn't prevent the
FormTests:datefield_select_newmonth_samedate" always fails with
"expected:<28> but was:<27>". from failing here...

I did verify it deeply and is something related to firefox here I
tried every firefox I know: 3.6.18, 4.0 and 5.0.1 and everyone does
the same.
After I clear, choose english locale and put the date 05/28/2046 (the
same actions from FormTests) when i click the calendar trigger icon it
show me the 27 of May selected.
Opera and Chrome does the right thing instead... does this seems a bug
in firefox or, less possible, in the datepicker.js
Any thoughts? Any other experiencing the same?

I'm not so sure cause here is my settings:
LANG=en_US.utf8
LC_CTYPE="en_US.utf8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_US.utf8"
LC_TIME="en_US.utf8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.utf8"

LC_ADDRESS="en_US.utf8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.utf8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.utf8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.utf8"
LC_ALL=
But at a first glance due to the type of error a locale problem pops up in mind
