Creation of Portlet Level Decorators

Hi All,

I've been having some issues with the Portlet Decorators.

First issue I had was when I replaced some of the Action Button's in an existing Portlet Decorator with new icons. The new icons no longer showed up in the Portlet menu bar even though their URL was correct. When I checked the divs within firebug, they were shown as 'invisible'.

Does the JETSPEED portal framework run some sort of CRC or all of the icons and will only display the existing ones if they match a table computed in the past? This was very odd behavior. Is there some way to regenerate?

The next issue that I encountered was after I cloned the Jetspeed Portlet Decorator and renamed it. It showed up in the site admin panel (the place where I can override each user's default decorator). However, when the user tried to change their own appearance, this newly created Portlet Decorator would not show up in the list, in fact only a few of the portlet descriptors were showing up. Again, is there some sort of command that I need to run to register this newly Created Portlet Decorator with Jetspeed so that it is recognized?

The last issue I had was when I deleted an entire Portlet Decorator class that was still associated with some portlets. Those portlets would not display until I went in with the Admin user panel and disassociated the portlet descriptor. I feel this is a bug, if the portlet descriptor does not exist, it should just revert back to the default set.

Thx,
Shane
