I could not replicate the "Shift+PageDown not selecting text” on a Windows 7
machine using OOo -dev 3.4 Beta 1.
I was able to replicate the "Shift+PgDn not selecting text” on a Windows 7
machine using OOo version 3.3.
Here are the steps I used to test in both versions and in MS Word 2010:
Test A:
1. Create a 2 page document.
2. Click your cursor (mouse) to the beginning of the document to position the
caret (text cursor).
3. Do Shift+LeftArrow to select a few characters.
4. Do Shift+PageDown multiple times to select text.
5. Do Shift+PageUp multiple times to deselect text.
6. Do Shift+PageDown multiple times until the entire document is selected.
7. Do Shift+PageUp multiple times to deselect all the text.
Test A Results:
Version 3.3 – The Shift+PageDown in step 4 did not select the text.
Version 3.4 – The text was selected/deselected for all steps. I found after
executing step 7 to deselect the text it appeared a block of text was still
selected.
MS Word 2010 - The text was selected/deselected for all steps.
Test B:

caret (text cursor).
3. Do Shift+LeftArrow to select a few characters.
4. Do Shift+PageDown multiple times to select text.
5. Do Shift+PageUp multiple times to deselect text.
6. Do Shift+PageDown multiple times until the entire document is selected.
7. Do Shift+PageUp multiple times to deselect all the text.
Test B Results:
Version 3.3 – The Shift+PageDown in step 4 selected the text the first attempt,
but when I did a second Shift+PageDown the text was not selected.
Version 3.4 – The text was selected/deselected for all steps. I found after
executing step 7 to deselect the text it appeared a block of text was still
selected.
MS Word 2010 - The text was selected/deselected for all steps.
