Currently there is no association between an Account, Contact, Lead and Opportunity and a Party that is in the role of Account Mgr. Including that association in the screens in the SFA module would enhance the usability of the module.
By default it should be set to the user that creates the party. It should also be possible to re-assign the party to another users (employee)
In overview screens it should then be possible to show by default the parties that are associated with the user. And/or swith/search for parties assigned to another user/employee.

Thanks for your reply.
As to your comments:
1) Preferably so, as the person logged in is the creator of the account. But, it should also be possible that the user can change the account manager to another person in the role of account manager.
2) See 1)
3) When a user goes to the SFA module it shows a standard welcome screen. For ease of use it should show the accounts and contacts/lead associated with the user so that the user would have to go through clicking multiple screens to see account details an/or add opportunities etdc.
4) My intention with this was that a user should always be able to search for accounts/contacts/leads associated with other persons in the role of account manager. Perhaps this is an open door.....

1) Do you want to associate Account/Contact/Lead/Opportunity with the party in the role of Account Mgr. that is logged in ?
2) When new Account/Contact/Lead/Opportunity is created then a party relationship record should be created with Logged in user ?
3) What does a overview screen means ?
4) Also please clarify "And/or swith/search for parties assigned to another user/employee"

With the new functionalities that Hans has included in the trunk users have now the opportunity to claim accounts, contacts and leads as to being under his management. So that seems to fullfill this improvement request.
With that being realized this issue could be closed.
