[I] Blog posts have no Markdown mirror [camel-website]
davsclaus opened a new issue, #1763:
URL: https://github.com/apache/camel-website/issues/1763
## Summary
Blog posts are not available as Markdown. Checked on 2026-09-17:
| URL | Status |
|---|---|
| https://camel.apache.org/blog/2026/09/camel-local-model-benchmark/ | 200 |
| https://camel.apache.org/blog/2026/09/camel-local-model-benchmark.md | 404 |
| https://camel.apache.org/blog/2026/09/camel-local-model-benchmark/index.md | 404 |
`gulp/tasks/generate-markdown.js` skips every `index.html`, which is how Hugo renders each post, so the blog is never converted. The blog is where the project explains its features and its reasoning at length (security response, AI tooling, case studies), so it is worth exposing to agents.
## Proposal
The posts are already written in Markdown under `content/blog/`, so no HTML-to-Markdown conversion is needed. A build step can copy each post's `index.md` to the published path (for example `/blog/2026/09/camel-local-model-benchmark.md`), turning the front matter into a short header (title, date, authors) and rewriting relative image links to absolute URLs.
`llms.txt` could then carry a short blog index, or a link to a generated `blog/index.md` listing every post with its date and preview, so an agent can find the posts without crawling the paginated list.
