Negotiating a terminal type in ssh connection
Hi,
I am new to Apache MINA project. I would like to use the sshd and I would like to know does it provide some means for the client and the server to negotiate the type of terminal (xterm, vt100, etc.) they are using?
Thanks and regads,
Lazar Kirchev

Thanks a lot Guillaume,
I think this will be enough for my purpose.

There's no real negociation afaik. The ssh protocol does not really
care about the terminal itself, but it allows the client to give
informations to the server side when requesting the pty.
See http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/mina/sshd/trunk/sshd-core/src/main/java/org/apache/sshd/client/channel/ChannelShell.java?revision=893392&view=markup
