WritableRpcEngine.Invocation#toString will throw NPE if {{parameters}} is null:

      buffer.append(methodName);
      buffer.append("(");
      for (int i = 0; i < parameters.length; i++) {
        if (i != 0)
          buffer.append(", ");
        buffer.append(parameters[i]);
      }
      buffer.append(")");
