I cannot connect via ssh to vmbuild. Niall Pemberton, Phil Steitz and Henri Yandell are also aware of the situation.
Automated builds of jakarta and of ant do not pick up the new code due to a change in the certificate of svn.apache.org.
No one can rectify the situtation without ssh access.

Resolution: Fixed
Losing syslog and ssh on a lightly loaded box
is very suspicious. I have run rk_hunter and
nmapped the box, and found nothing unusual,
but will continue to keep a close eye on it.
In the meantime I have installed pam_opie
on it, and suggest that anyone with an administrative
account on the machine (which so far is everyone),
set up an opiepasswd. This eliminates the possibility
of someone sniffing your password, because it never
gets sent over the network.

Looks like something bad happened to the box on Feb 3 at around
13:10 PST. Syslog shut down, as did cron, and I'm guessing you lost
ssh access around the same time. I don't think the box has been rooted,
but I can't be certain of that.
