Hi [~ichattopadhyaya],
Really very sorry for the late reply, but to address this in my plan has to be pending on something really happened. I'm not sure it's going to upgrade to latest ApacheDS as the project has shifted the Kerberos related effort to a standalone sub-project [Apache Kerby|https://github.com/apache/directory-kerby]. I had made a proposal to the community to update the relevant codes rebased on Kerby and wish it could happen. If so, this issue will be happlily addressed as Kerby has the nice support.
