[users@httpd] httpd-2.0.44 install - OpenBSD 3.0 on a Sparc64 platform
Hi,
I have downloaded httpd-2.0.44 and am attempting to compile and install it
on my system running OpenBSD 3.0 on a Sparc64 platform.
I ran ./configure (default configuration) and there didn't appear to be an
problems. Next I ran "make" and that's where the problems begin:
bash-2.05# make
Making all in srclib
Making all in apr
Making all in strings
Making all in passwd
Making all in tables
Making all in file_io/unix
Making all in network_io/unix
Making all in threadproc/unix
Making all in misc/unix
/bin/sh
/usr/local/src/httpd-2.0.44/srclib/apr/libtool --silent --mode=compile
gcc -g -O2 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -D_POSIX_THREADS -I../../include -I../../incl
ude/arch/unix -I../../include/arch/unix -c start.c && touch start.lo
In file included from start.c:59:
../../include/apr_atomic.h:356: #error Platform has redefined
apr_atomic_init, but other default default atomics require a default

Any assistance in where to start remedying the problem would be most
appreciated.

I'm reading that there's some inconsistency in a variable (Platform) in
your Makefile. Make sure that the value is the same throughout.
