[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7285) "Maven 3 (latest)" on Windows node runs Maven 3.0.2

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7285?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13930064#comment-13930064 ]

Gavin commented on INFRA-7285:
------------------------------

Herve, build slaves are updated manually, including the upgrading of Maven,Ant, etc etc - so when the symlink was created to point to 3.0.2 that means that 3.0.2 was the 'latest' at the time. Software releases happen frequently and our build slaves are always going to fall behind for a short period until updates happen manually.

I would prefer that you email the builds@ emailing list whenever you spot an out of date software but after ensuring reasonable time has lapsed to allow for updates to happen.

For this issue, I'll look shortly.

> Apache Maven 3.0.2 (r1056850; 2011-01-09 00:58:10+0000)
> the alias should give a more sensible result (ie actually either 3.0.5, 3.1.1 or 3.2.1)
