[jira] [Commented] (NUTCH-1509) Implement read/write in NutchField

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUTCH-1509?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13538165#comment-13538165 ]

Markus Jelsma commented on NUTCH-1509:
--------------------------------------

Forget it, using ObjectWritable is a wrong approach anyway. I'll have to write the type before the value and encode Date as a Long.
