1.4.5 install problem

hi, i downloaded svn and svn-deps from the tigris website just now.

i'm having a problem with installation on my opteron machine:

/usr/lib/libexpat.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [subversion/libsvn_subr/libsvn_subr-1.la] Error 1


any help would be most appreciated
