Sub-apps need context-relative option for 'input' of an Action
Summary: Sub-apps need context-relative option for 'input' of an
Action
Product: Struts
Version: 1.1 Beta 1
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: Other
Component: Controller
AssignedTo: struts-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: martinc@apache.org
There is no way to indicate that the value of the 'input' attribute on an
<action> mapping is context relative. (For regular forwards, this can be
specified using the 'contextRelative' attribute.) This is needed for multiple
sub-app applications.
I thought about just adding a 'inputIsContextRelative' attribute to action
mappings, but that doesn't seem clean, so I figured I'd submit a bug report and
see if anyone else had a better idea. I'd like to get something into 1.1-b2,
though.
