Transaction isolation level with Container Managed Transaction

I use CMT model for my application and use XA transactions (DB + JMS). I want
to set transaction isolation level to "serializable" for my DB operations.
Persistence.xml is not the right place for it. Maybe connection pool
deployment plan ? or server configuration ?
