[jira] [Created] (SPARK-55226) Recognize timestamp units other than [ns]
Tian Gao created SPARK-55226:
--------------------------------
Summary: Recognize timestamp units other than [ns]
Key: SPARK-55226
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-55226
Project: Spark
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: PySpark
Affects Versions: 4.2.0
Reporter: Tian Gao
We only recognize pandas timestamp datetime[ns], the default for string timestamp is [us] now - we are supposed to support that anyway. We should at least allow that as a valid input. Converting back is another story.
