another bad error message

A user of mine just complained that they couldn't understand the error
message they got on an import. The interaction was approximately like
this:

$ svn import svn:/svn/svn/branches/[...]
svn: Error resolving case of 'svn:/svn/svn/branches/[...]

Now, the real error is "you needed two //es after the :, silly!", but
the given error message is really really bad.

Is there an existing trouble ticket for this, or should I open a new
one?

BTW, the biggest problem I've had supporting svn for my users so far
has been really bad error messages. They're very frequently useless,
and that's a serious issue in terms of perception of the product... :(
