There are a number of examples of how to use the row normaliser and row denormaliser in the samples project.
You may want to take a look at them 

I would start by replicating your example at the top.
Then meta inject it 
Then use real data.

Further,  I suspect you are trying to analyse at the same time you normalise. 
Try and avoid that until you have a unit test demonstrating that.
Nulls don't sum/count nicely
