Maven repository problem
I'm getting the following error when try to "mvn clean" in my working
directory checked-out from
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/directory/branches/apacheds-schema :

Anyone know if there is anything I can do to get around this problem,
or is it simply a case of waiting for the problem to resolve itself
(whilst cursing maven's desire to continually hit the internet with
all too often fatal consequences to my build...)
Thanks

Thanks. Your work around got my "mvn clean" working (how high tech ;-)
Unfortunately "mvn -e install" now fails with:

so does this mean that the plexus plug-in also has a problem, or does
the error message sound like some sort of transient network problem?
Thanks

yeah ... Someone committed a bad maven plugin in the repo last week...
I have filled a JIRA for that but, so far, the culprit is still hidding
in the forest.
There is a workaround : just copy/paste the trunks pom.xml, it should work.
