Create an irregular polygon composed of isosceles right triangles. Copy and
paste in a row. <right-click>"Distribution->Spacing" -- the last element is not
spaced correctly.

ALG: I have tried various combinations of the triangle shape, the triangle
shape converted to polygon and bitmap, all went well. Checked with all objects
at the same position, all but one in one position and other stuff, all went
well. Checked with grouped triangles, went well. With grouped and converted,
all went well. Checked on win7 and mac.

Environment:
OS: Win7 SP1
AOO: 3.4.1

This bug appeared to be unreproducible at first but I’ve been able to reproduce
this 3/10 times. I’ve been unable to isolate the critical conditions required
to reproduce this bug 100%. Repro steps below:

1) Open a new Impress presentation
2) Add some right-angle triangles to a blank slide
3) Group them (how? TBA)
4) Convert the grouped shape to a polygon (how? TBA)
5) Copy and paste 5 times
6) Select all 6 shapes
7) Distribute the shapes using horizontal spacing (how? TBA)
8) Observed result

Initially, the polygons were evenly distributed. I confirmed this by using the
Dimension Line object (add the Lines and Arrows button > Select Dimension
Line) and measuring the distance between adjacent shapes. No overlapping was
seen in 3 repro attempts using the original steps. See attachment “Bug 122269
- Failed repro attempt.odp”

Experimenting with copy and paste lead to limited success reproducing the
issue. In the initial attempts, I would create a single triangle, position it
(to match the attachment from the original report), then copy that, position
it, and so on. However, doing lots of copy and paste’s one after the other and
then repeating the steps, caused the spacing issue to happen more frequently.
See attachment “Bug 122269 - Successful repro attempt.odp”

When the issue does occur, it appears that the left-most and right-most
shapes/polygons do not move.

Also, copying a polygon from one presentation to another, carry it’s behaviour
along with it - so a correctly spacing polygon will behave the same way in a
different presentation file and vice versa. You can have Perhaps there is some
property of shapes/polygons that being copied across (I’m no AOO expert though
so this could be a red herring). See attachment “Bug 122269 - Successful repro
attempt - Spacing and non-spacing.odp”

Some things for further investigation:
a) Is this a problem just with right-angle triangles? I tried using diamonds
but was unable to reproduce the problem
b) Is this a problem with normal bitmap shapes? I tried using circles but was
unable to reproduce the problem (although the repro rate means this is by no
means conclusive)
