Can't change webapp class loader (bug #5391 revisited :)
Summary: Can't change webapp class loader (bug #5391 revisited :)
Product: Tomcat 4
Version: Nightly Build
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Catalina
AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: inhuman@iki.fi
Bug fix for submitted bug #5391 don't fix the problem of overriding the default
class loader (WebappClassLoader) for WebappLoader. It still has no effect. In
WebappLoader.start method a WebappClassLoader is always created:
if (parentClassLoader == null) {
classLoader = new WebappClassLoader(container.getResources());
} else {
classLoader = new WebappClassLoader(parentClassLoader,
container.getResources());
}
Is it possible to use dynamic class creation here to fix this feature?
