[jira] [Commented] (TRAFODION-1528) Customer settings in Cloudera being deleted by Installer

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRAFODION-1528?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14959509#comment-14959509 ]

Suresh Subbiah commented on TRAFODION-1528:
-------------------------------------------

A couple of things I stumbled into that may be relevant

a) Property added in the "safety-valve" section of Clodera manager overwrites the settings for same property in cloudera manager
b) With coprocessors, cloudera manager will add ACL related coprocs itself when security is enabled, no need to add them through script (unless we are using the safety valve)

> traf_cloudera_mods98 (maybe traf_hortonworks_mods98) seems to be wiping out previous configurations when new configurations are added.
> Needs to be investigated more and fixed.
