HTTP/1.1

Is it my imagination, or was somebody talking a while back about
doing a patch that provided HTTP/1.1 persistent connections for
Apache SOAP 2.x?

FYI, Axis supports chunked encoding but still does not do HTTP/1.1
keep-alive.

I had a quick look at the archives at http://marc.theaimsgroup.com and it
looks like June 2001 was the last discussion. Matt Duftler had hacked
something, but it never got into the code base. The thread also mentions
chunked encoding, which could also be supported.

I had a quick look at the archives at http://marc.theaimsgroup.com and it
looks like June 2001 was the last discussion. Matt Duftler had hacked
something, but it never got into the code base. The thread also mentions
chunked encoding, which could also be supported.
