commit 8c1ba38d98151f288d0ac82e649ea3d374c480da

Rewrite site documentation in Simplified Technical English

Rewrite the prose in the site markdown pages according to
ASD-STE100 Simplified Technical English. Use simple tenses, active
voice, imperative mood for instructions, and the approved modals.
Remove contractions, semicolons, and -ing verb forms from the prose.
Align the site menu labels with the new page titles.
