Apache SOAP RPCRouter
----- Réacheminé par Manuel PAITREAULT/CNEDI69/CNAF le 17/05/01 09:15 -----
Hello,
I'm a french student and I'm presently performing an internship about
the conception of an interoperable system capable of interrogating
several heterogenous databases !!! The principe is that a client invoke
a request (in XML) to a server application. So I was looking for simple
"demon" capable of working alone on a server, ready to answer to any
invocation from a client when I discover the product "Apache SOAP"
which were suitable to my problem.
As said in your specification, I downloaded and installed all the
packages needed :
- SOAP 2.1
- Xerces
- Javamail
- Java Beans FrameWork (JAF)
and for the server, the package "Tomcat" !!
Tomcat works well I think !! I test it in local and in network with a
web browser by the URL http://localhost:8080/
But when I want to configure it to invoke SOAP services (for example
http://localhost:8080/soap/servlet/rpcrouter); it doesn't find the page
!!
and to test the whole, I tried the sample Calculator : the frame
appears, but the operation doesn't work, beacuse it doesn't manage to
find the servlet RPCrouter !!!
And I don't find it !!
Could you help me ??
Thank you in advance
