[jira] Created: (FELIX-60) Add framework usage doc to the installer

Add framework usage doc to the installer
----------------------------------------

         Key: FELIX-60
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FELIX-60
     Project: Felix
        Type: Improvement

  Components: Installer
    Reporter: Richard S. Hall
     Fix For: 0.8.0

The installer should deploy some documentation with the framework. I have created some simple usage documentation at http://docs.safehaus.org/display/OSGI/Felix+Usage that we can somehow convert into an HTML file and include with the installer.

Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-60:
--------------------------------------

We probably need to extend the usage document to include information about starting Felix as a service/daemon in Windows/Linux.

[jira] Updated: (FELIX-60) Add framework usage doc to the installer

Richard S. Hall updated FELIX-60:
---------------------------------

    Fix Version/s: 1.0.0
                       (was: 0.8.0)

The installer still needs to copy the usage document, but for the 0.8.0 release archive we will just include the document by hand, so moving this to 1.0.0.

[jira] Commented: (FELIX-60) Add framework usage doc to the installer

Marcel Offermans commented on FELIX-60:
---------------------------------------

wget http://docs.safehaus.org/display/OSGI/Felix+Usage?decorator=printable

...or something similar would be enough to grab a copy of that document (I know Confluence can also export to PDF so we could even use that if we want)...

Is there a Maven command that would allow us to do this?
