RocketMQ 5.0 is a fast, reliable, and scalable distributed messaging system, and a popular choice for messaging and streaming workloads. However, its official client library currently lacks support for Python.
To address this gap, we're looking to develop a Python client library for RocketMQ 5.0, and we'd like to invite the community to contribute to this effort.
The Python client library will leverage the existing Java client API and protocols, and provide a simple and intuitive interface for sending and receiving messages, managing topics and subscriptions.
We welcome developers who are interested in building a Python client library for RocketMQ 5.0, whether you have experience with Python, Java, messaging systems, or open source development. The project will be hosted on Github, and we'll guide you through the project setup and development process. We also appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or contributions to the project documentation, testing, and integration with other Python libraries.
Let's work together to make RocketMQ a more inclusive and versatile messaging system for everyone, and bring its benefits to the Python community!

Sorry for the delayed contact. I have a couple of questions:
- Is this new client intended to replace the outdated https://github.com/apache/rocketmq-client-python?
- Should we ensure that the new client remains compatible with the aforementioned client?

2. It is a brand new client, compatibility is not considered.
