Thanks For your response Martin.
Input to SQLLDR is username/password@oracledb control_file.
basically I want to load data in tables using control file.
I am looking to be able to execute the following commad from Maven POM.xml
EX: sqlldr scott/tiger@orcl load_data.ctl
I have a oracle client installed on my machine and tnsnames to connect to
the oracle databases.
Please let me know if you require further information.
Thanks,
Hanuman

can you be more specific about your requirements for this plugin?
what is the input format you will be using to SQLLDR?
which grants would be provided to the SQLLDR plugin username (assume CREATE TABLE, CREATE DATABASE, CREATE INDEX, CREATE SYNONYM, CREATE LINK, SELECT,INSERT,UPDATE,DELETE perms using SYSDBA)?
do you have a tnsnames.ora pointing to a valid test Oracle instance the SQLLDR plugin should populate?
or...should we provide our own Oracle Instance?
Since SQLLDR is a product of Oracle ..what has been there response to this request (if any)?
thanks,
Martin

Yes Jeff...Thanks very much for your prompt reply.
Ex: Using maven-database-util-plugin I can run the SQLPLUS.
My question is much related to which plugin will have the SQLLDR?
Thanks,
Hanuman

Michael
yes that would work (if you have wallet installed).
But the maven-sqlldr-plugin is for plain vanilla Oracle installations (sans Wallet)
which would feature:
configurable options for SQLLDR
Process Management fork options (similar to what Kristian built into surefire)

Martin

The best approach here is use Antrun Plugin or Exec. Externalize the
password and do NOT pass as command line arg better yet -- use Oracle
Wallet.
