PDF/A-1b validation rules

Hello, I was wondering if there is any kind of documentation somewhere
about the PDF/A1-b rules validated by pdfbox preflight, about what they
test in order to verify each PDF/A definition. Basides the code comments,
that is.

Thanks in advance.
Roger

veraPDF, the open-source PDF/A validator that works with pdfbox, generates reports that identify each rule used by the software (i.e., all of the “shall” statements from ISO 19005), and provides details on the error(s) triggering a failure of the rule.

No, you'll have to buy the PDF/A-1b specification from ISO :-(
