dist:deploy-snapshot does not contain artifact

Hallo,

running the dist:deploy-snapshot goal produces binary distributions that do not 
contain the projects artifact. I expected a artifact.jar just like with the 
dist:deploy goal. I use maven-1.0-beta-10.
