[~petersla] Thanks for the patch! Oveall LGTM, a few things:
- Un-supported apps by Bigtop. e.g., Impala, Security. should be added to app_blacklist? What do you think? 

and It would be nice if the template includes configurations related zookeeper (with another JIRA) ;-)
